Duties
The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist produces radiographic images for medical interpretation, interacts with all healthcare staff, many clerical staff members, all patient care departments, and with patients’ families and visitors. This position is held accountable for performing the correct radiologic exams and producing high-quality images.

Responsibilities
Consists of performing optimal x-rays, and must be able to lift 25lbs. or more. Rotate through several modalities, portables on the floors, surgery, fluoro, and the emergency department performing X-rays, as well as coverage of diagnostic imaging at UAMS. Communicates with patients, patients' family members, co-workers, and physicians. Continues education and learning new procedures on a day-to-day basis.
