Duties

Responsibilities
Develop and grow industrial and intermediates chemicals in Asia Pacific region profitably by managing assigned product portfolio with strategic supply channels, optimizing on different pricing matrix to position products in the markets and to assist country business units to achieve set sales and profitability targets. Manage a portfolio of products from multiple strategic suppliers to meet company target sales volume and profit. Perform regular in-depth market research of related feedstock market pricing, movements, supply situation and report market intelligence. Cultivate and maintain strong authentic relationships with strategic suppliers to secure competitive pricing and supply reliability. Derive structured pricing mechanism of the products for the region on multiple pricing models. Develop go-to-market plans and strategies for the product portfolios with commercial teams to achieve consistent, profitable sales growth, gross profit targets, GP/WC matrix and market expansion for the region. Support country business managers to maintain an active pipeline of new business opportunities for the product portfolio and conduct regular business reviews to monitor progress. When needed, assist country business managers to develop customer contracts, quotations and proposals, and attend to customer queries and provide value-added solutions/initiatives to differentiate Brenntag’s Base Solvents products from competitor offerings.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
Experience
Minimum 5 years Sales & Marketing experience or relevant work experience in a Chemical/Petrochemical company, with minimum 2 years in Industrial Chemical Sales Others: Able to work effectively in the absence of daily direct supervision Able to communicate and work effectively at executive, mid-level management and operating levels and customer organizations Strong analytical skills with an understanding of profit and loss statements Strong interpersonal skills able to work effectively in a multi-culture environment Able to travel as required to achieve business objectives Brenntag provides equal employment opportunities to qualified applicants and employees of all backgrounds and identities to create a workplace where difference is valued because it forms a resilient and more innovative organization.
