Senior Manager – Project Management & Construction Management Company: The Boeing Company Boeing’s Projects, Assets, Construction, and Engineering (PACE) organization seeks a collaborative, hands-on Senior Manager to support the Boeing South Carolina (BSC) PACE Director for project management/construction management in North Charleston, SC. This role requires a deep understanding of Project Management and Construction Management to help lead site execution of infrastructure and construction initiatives that enable successful business performance and the long-range site plan. The successful candidate will bring exceptional people leadership and a proven ability to manage teams in complex, dynamic, and demanding conditions. This leader will know how to create clarity, establish accountability, and drive performance while supporting and developing people. Equally important, this role requires a strong and credible construction management background with the ability to support site leadership in executing disciplined, high-quality project delivery. The Senior Manager will partner closely with site leadership, business unit stakeholders, and enterprise partners to drive strong relationships, disciplined execution, and positive business outcomes. Success in this role requires practical experience in project and construction management, facilities and infrastructure development, contractor oversight, financial management, and executive communication, along with a proven ability to build trusted partnerships and lead through complexity. Responsibilities
Support the Director of PACE in leading a high-performing team of project and construction management professionals to deliver site facilities and infrastructure projects Provide strong leadership by setting clear expectations, creating accountability, and supporting team members in complex and changing conditions Develop and execute integrated plans, policies, and strategies for a wide range of construction and renovation projects Partner with site leadership and business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize work, and align project execution with business needs Secure and allocate resources, manage suppliers, and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity Influence and maintain strong stakeholder, partner, and team relationships to ensure alignment, collaboration, and timely issue resolution Oversee technical approaches, products, and processes; support source selection, budgeting, and scheduling to optimize project outcomes Support project scoping, planning, execution, and closeout while identifying and mitigating risks, constraints, and schedule impacts Monitor performance against baselines and supports corrective actions to maintain cost, schedule, and scope discipline Monitor performance of Risk, Issue & Opportunity Management System and well as the Change Management System. Contribute to project tracking, reporting, dashboards, and status updates to ensure visibility into portfolio performance Support long-range planning and development of site facilities and capital roadmaps aligned to business priorities Coach, develop, and motivate employees and mid-level managers, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence Able to travel domestically up to 15% Basic
Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience): 10+ years of experience in facilities, construction, and/or project management 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
Experience
using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables

in a role requiring presentation skills

developing project execution plans, schedules and budgets
Experience
managing ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment in support of multiple organizations Ability to travel domestically up to 15%
