IT Systems Analyst Company: Boeing Australia Holdings Pty Ltd We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical IT Systems Analyst to join our IT team in Brisbane in a hybrid capacity. This role will be focusing on the optimisation, maintenance, and support of our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance modules. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between our Finance department and the IT organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring that our financial systems are performing optimally, supporting end-users through complex technical challenges, and driving continuous improvement through system enhancements and automated workflows. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial business processes and the technical architecture of Oracle EBS. About the Role: System Support & Maintenance Provide Tier 1 - 3 functional and technical support for Oracle EBS Finance modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management,) Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including data discrepancies, interface failures, and user access problems. Business Analysis & Process Improvement Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for new features or system changes. Translate complex business needs into technical specifications for developers or configuration changes. Identify opportunities to automate manual financial processes to increase efficiency and reduce human error. Implementation & Configuration Assist in the configuration and testing of new Oracle EBS modules or patches. Lead or participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), developing comprehensive test scripts and managing the defect remediation process. Support the integration of Oracle EBS with third-party financial tools, banking interfaces, or internal proprietary systems. Documentation & Training Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, including system configuration guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical design documents. Create user manuals and deliver training sessions to end-users to ensure high adoption of system features and best practices. Basic

Qualifications

(Required Skills/Experience) 3+ years of proven experience in a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst role, specifically supporting Oracle E-Business Suite Deep understanding of core financial processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report). Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Finance module configuration. Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL for data querying and troubleshooting. Understanding of ETL processes and data integration between Oracle and external systems.

Preferred Qualifications

(Desired Skills/Experience) Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical finance professionals. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

with Oracle E-Business Suite R2

Experience

with Oracle Workflow, Oracle Reports, or BI Publisher. Knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP migration/transition strategies. Professional certification in Oracle EBS or a relevant Finance/Accounting designation (i.e. CPA, CMA).

Experience

working within an Agile/Scrum development methodology. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
