We currently have an open position as (Senior) Financial Analyst, FP&A and Operations Finance (m/f/d), Xylem Analytics at our site in Weilheim (Bavaria) or Mainz. The "(Senior) Financial Analyst, FP&A and Operations Finance (m/f/d), Xylem Analytics" provides combined FP&A and operational finance support to the Analytics business, with a strong focus on reporting, budgeting, inventory, cost, and operational performance management. Reporting solid-line into Global FP&A and operationally supporting the Ops Finance in Germany, the role ensures accurate reporting, disciplined inventory and cost controls, and effective execution of global and local finance processes. Key responsibilities include: Business Partnership & Support Support Global FP&A and the Ops Finance with financial analysis and data preparation Act as execution bridge between global FP&A requirements and local Operations Finance needs Prepare insights and analyses for operational and financial reviews Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes Prepare variance analysis and identify key cost and performance drivers Support backlog reporting and integration into FP&A forecasts Reporting, Analytics & Controllership Prepare or support reconciliations, validations, and accuracy checks Support collaboration with Accounting on close and reporting topics Operations Finance, Inventory & Cost Monitor stock balances, inventory movements and absorption Perform inventory valuation including standard cost recalculations, usage, E&O and reconciliations Support inventory spot checks and monitoring of inventory days Monitor purchasing volumes including material and non-material Track productivity figures from production ERP, Master Data & Systems Monitor ERP master data including but not limited to items and cost Act as contact for item master and POC model topics Monitor working orders history, incoming orders and backlog Required

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field 4-7 years experience Strong analytical and reconciliation skills Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (QAD preferred) Fluent in German and English
