European University Cyprus is currently seeking a passionate, skilled and team-oriented candidate to join our Research team at the position of Research Specialist. Working within the EUC Research Office, the successful candidate will provide administrative and analytical support to EUC faculty and researchers throughout the proposal preparation, submission, implementation and reporting processes.

Responsibilities
Identify and disseminate funding opportunities to EUC faculty and researchers to support and promote research excellence. Monitor funding programme conditions, restrictions and relevant legal frameworks, providing guidance to ensure compliance during proposal preparation, submission and implementation. Collect, validate, process and analyse research and administrative data for institutional reporting, performance monitoring and strategic decision-making. Assist in the preparation and processing of research project contracts and agreements. Maintain and update databases related to EUC research projects and proposals. Coordinate seminars, workshops and related activities that promote research collaboration, capacity building and networking within EUC. Prepare and contribute to internal and external reports on University research performance utilizing relevant data. Perform any additional duties related to research administration as assigned by the Office of the Vice Rector for Research and External Affairs.
Qualifications
required: Master’s degree (MA/MSc) Full fluency in Greek and English languages Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Experience
in supporting the preparation and submission of funding applications and the administration of funded projects. Familiarity with and experience in Research and Innovation Foundation’s and EU funding programs High level of organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience
