About the Role As a Senior Solution Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to prospective clients in Japan. By blending deep expertise in Human Capital Management (HCM) with keen business acumen, you will demonstrate how our platform solves complex business challenges. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you will deliver compelling, tailor-made demonstrations that highlight the value and innovation of our HCM solutions, proposing transformations that redefine how clients manage their workforce. 【Key Responsibilities】 Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute sales strategies. You will identify client pain points and business objectives to clearly articulate our value proposition. Prepare and deliver engaging, visionary product demonstrations that showcase the true power of our HCM suite. You will tailor your messaging to resonate with C-level executives and key stakeholders. Maintain profound knowledge of our HCM product roadmap, the competitive landscape, and industry trends to position the company (Workday) as a market leader. Act as an HCM expert, guiding clients through technical and functional discovery sessions. You will work to understand their specific needs and build a credible, evidence-based case for our solutions. Contribute to internal initiatives, including providing feedback to product development teams, creating sales enablement materials, and mentoring junior team members. About You Mandatory required experience & skills 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or a similar role, specifically focused on enterprise-level HCM software. A proven track record of delivering persuasive and memorable product demonstrations to diverse audiences, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Deep functional knowledge of core HCM business processes, including recruitment, onboarding, talent management, compensation, and payroll. Ability to utilize business-level Japanese and English to communicate effectively with both customers and internal global teams. Preferred Experience & Skills Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with the ability to link technology solutions to business outcomes and Return on Investment (ROI). Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel as required to client sites, conferences, and internal meetings. Mindset & Attributes A collaborative and proactive attitude, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning new technologies and staying ahead of industry trends.
