Position Summary: Ensuring all tasks in the area of production planning cans Key Activities / Measurables: - Conduct weekly short- and medium-term planning based on forecasts and overarching can planning for Food and VSP - Create daily and weekly production schedules - Reconciliation between short-term scheduling and medium-term planning - Coordinating planning activities within Sonoco as part of the supply chain - Participation in the PSI process Europe for the VSP division - Ensure continuity of material supply in close collaboration with the Ends and MPC planners - independent and responsible material requirements planning and coordination with other departments - Striving for optimal inventories while ensuring customer service and optimizing plant utilization - Participation in the further development of existing planning methods - Representation of colleagues within production planning - Contributing to the further development of existing planning methods - Representing colleagues within production planning Knowledge & Skills Required: Required Independent and responsible working style Solid experience with common MS Office software Good English skills, spoken and written High resilience, even under time pressure Affinity for numbers and strong communication skills good teamwork skills Desirable
