Job Description Domain-Level Financial Strategy & Planning Develop and drive the financial planning strategy for the specific domain (e.g., business unit or function). Partner with business leaders to translate operational strategies into financial goals. Align domain-specific financial plans with the organization’s broader financial strategy. 2. Budgeting, Forecasting, and Variance Analysis Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for the domain. Monitor actual financial performance vs. plan; investigate and explain variances. Identify risks and opportunities within the domain and recommend corrective actions. 3. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management Act as the primary finance point of contact for domain leaders and their teams. Provide actionable financial insights to support decision-making. Influence and challenge stakeholders with data-driven recommendations. 4. Performance Management Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the domain. Analyze trends and benchmarks to support performance improvement initiatives. Deliver reports and dashboards tailored to domain leadership. 5. Data & Analytics Oversight Ensure data integrity and consistency in all FP&A outputs for the domain. Leverage BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) to enhance reporting and insight generation. Collaborate with data and analytics teams to improve access to decision-support data. 6. Process Standardization and Improvement Implement and maintain standard FP&A processes within the domain. Identify areas for automation and efficiency improvements in planning/reporting workflows. Support deployment of FP&A tools and templates. 7. Cross-Functional Collaboration Coordinate with corporate finance, accounting, and other domain leads to ensure aligned planning cycles. Work closely with HR, IT, procurement, and other functions as needed to build accurate financial plans. Contribute to enterprise-wide FP&A projects and transformation efforts. 8. Governance and Compliance Ensure domain-level financial activities comply with corporate policies and financial regulations. Support audit processes and financial controls related to domain activities. Skills &
Qualifications
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and business acumen. Deep understanding of the domain’s operational drivers (e.g., supply chain, sales, product).
Experience
with financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Anaplan, etc.). Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence senior leaders using data and insights.
