Responsibilities
Business & Sales Management Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve business objectives. Develop and execute territory business plans and sales strategies. Forecast monthly and quarterly sales and monitor business performance. Analyse market trends, competition, and identify growth opportunities. Resolve customer complaints and ensure superior customer service. Coordinate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and other support functions to ensure seamless business operations. Distribution & Infrastructure Management Develop and strengthen distributor networks across the territory. Ensure optimum stock availability and efficient inventory management. Monitor distributor performance, collections, and billing processes. Manage CFA operations to ensure smooth supply chain execution. Team Leadership & Capability Building Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Territory Sales Officers (TSOs), Territory Sales Incharges (TSIs), and Sales Officers (SOs). Conduct regular joint field visits to improve selling effectiveness and market execution. Drive product detailing, merchandising, visibility, and promotional excellence. Support recruitment, onboarding, and capability development of sales team members. Ensure timely reporting and adherence to company processes. Candidate Profile Qualification Graduate (MBA/PGDBM preferred)
Experience
6–10 years of sales experience in FMCG, OTC, Consumer Healthcare, or Personal Care. Proven experience in managing distributors, retail channels, and field sales teams. Strong understanding of primary & secondary sales, distribution management, and territory planning.
