SDT EE Quality Manager

Remote Full Time

Job description

Logitech is the Sweet Spot for people who want their actions to have a positive global impact while having the flexibility to do it in their own way. Position: Supplier Quality Engineering Manager (LRA , or Switch, or PCB Focus) Job Description We are seeking a comprehensive Quality Management expert with a solid technical background in LRA (Linear Resonant Actuators), or Switch, or PCB/FPC. You will not only act as the technical gatekeeper for component quality but also serve as a strong project driver and cross-functional coordinator. We need someone who can leverage their engineering background to identify logical flaws in supplier reports, utilize systemic management tools to drive continuous supplier improvement, and navigate complex internal and external environments to deliver concrete quality results. Key

Responsibilities

Supplier Driving & Closed-Loop Management: Effectively manage critical component suppliers (LRA, or PCB, or Switch). Review and challenge supplier 8D reports and Failure Analysis (FA). Use data and facts to drive suppliers to implement genuine root cause analysis and effective preventive actions, avoiding superficial fixes. Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the central bridge between Procurement, R&D, and Manufacturing. Balance technical specifications, cost, and manufacturability. Skillfully handle conflicts to align internal standards with supplier capabilities. Quality System & Process Audits: Move beyond simple paperwork. Conduct deep-dive on-site audits (e.g., VDA 6.3) focusing on supplier process capabilities (CPK), fixture precision, and actual manufacturing parameters. Establish and optimize supplier performance evaluation mechanisms. Process Change Control: Manage and approve critical SPCN (Supplier Process Change Notification) and coordinate the engineering validation for 2nd source qualifications, ensuring zero risk during transitions. Team Enablement & Mentorship: Assist the SQE Manager in standardizing departmental procedures. Build systematic "fire prevention" workflows rather than relying on "firefighting,". Position
