Master's degree in higher education, counseling, social work, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
Experience
with and understanding student development theories.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience
developing, coordinating, or managing academic intervention, student success, or retention programs.
Experience

Experience

Duties
45% - Student Success Programs & Academic Intervention: Manage the planning, implementation, and assessment of the Academic Wellbeing Empowerment Programs (e.g., CONNECT, ASPIRE, THRIVE, and other academic intervention initiatives). Meet individually with students experiencing academic challenges to develop personalized success plans, connect them with campus resources, and support their return to good academic standing. Monitor student progress throughout the semester and conduct proactive outreach to students identified as academically at risk. Collaborate with faculty, academic advisors, Care Support Services, Counseling Center, Undergraduate Academic Affairs, and other campus partners to coordinate comprehensive student support. Maintain accurate records and documentation and utilize student success technologies to track student engagement and outcomes. Evaluate program effectiveness through assessment and recommend improvements to increase student persistence and academic success. 35% - Outreach, Collaboration & Student Engagement: Manage the Answers-on-the-Go (AOTG) outreach program, including planning, scheduling, assessment, and continuous improvement. Coordinate outreach initiatives designed to increase student awareness of Academic Wellbeing resources and services. Keeps Academic Wellbeing staff informed of program updates, projects and initiatives. Represents Academic Wellbeing at university events, including orientation programs, resource fairs, and campus presentations. Develops collaborative partnerships with faculty and campus departments to promote early intervention and student success. Creates educational resources and presentations related to academic wellbeing, help seeking behaviors, and student success strategies. 15% - Leadership & Supervision: Supervises the Graduate Assistant and student employees supporting the Empowerment Programs and Answers-on-the-Go initiative. Provides training, mentoring, and performance feedback to student staff. Participates in departmental meetings and strategic planning initiatives. Serves on university committees and workgroups as assigned. Assists with departmental assessment, reporting, and strategic initiatives. 5% - Other
Duties
Participates in the Student Affairs On-Call rotation and the university care reporting system.
