Education
Content Developer on the Product Expertise team, you will design, develop, and maintain instructionally sound course content for the Workday integrations product area. You will play a key role in ensuring that Workday customers, partners, and employees have the learning resources they need to be successful. In this role, you will be responsible for: Defining course requirements, writing learning objectives, and developing course materials (including eLearning media, graphics, manuals, and activities) that support course objectives and align with business needs. Achieving course schedule and quality goals that align with Workday standards and processes. Developing subject matter expertise in 1–2 Workday products within 6–9 months to ensure content accuracy and relevance. Continuously improving existing course content based on learner feedback, product updates, and evolving best practices. You should have a clear and effective command of language and excel at simplifying concepts, procedures, and complex technical information. 3 - 5 years of experience creating technical training content for web developers or systems integrators, or equivalent experience in web development or software integrations. 3 - 5 years of experience in instructional design or curriculum development, including the use of authoring, multimedia, AI, and graphics tools (e.g., Rise, Adobe Captivate, Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft PowerPoint). Demonstrated proficiency with core web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, and/or XML. Demonstrated proficiency using a content management system and instructional design tools (e.g., project plans, design documents, content templates). Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time and within scope. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively and clearly through written materials. Deep understanding of Workday products or the ability to quickly develop product knowledge and translate that understanding into meaningful learning content. Demonstrated adherence to established content guidelines, ensuring all course materials meet standards for consistency and quality. Agility to learn and embrace new technology in a dynamic environment.
