Job Summary
Summary Responsible for ensuring compliance with grant funding regulations, managing budgets, and providing financial guidance to research teams through collaboration with researchers, finance teams, and external funding agencies to ensure the successful financial management of research projects and maximize the utilization of grant funds. Essential Functions
Oversee the financial aspects of research grants, including pre-award and post-award activities.
- Collaborate with principal investigators (PIs) and research teams to develop accurate and realistic budgets for grant applications, considering personnel, equipment, supplies, and other project-related expenses.
- Ensure compliance with grant funding agency regulations, hospital policies, and accounting standards throughout the life cycle of research projects.
- Manage the financial tracking and accounting for multiple research grants simultaneously, ensuring accurate allocation of expenses and timely invoicing.
- Prepare financial reports for research grants, detailing budgetary performance, expenses, and compliance with funding agency requirements.
- Oversee financial matters related to subcontracts, subawards, and collaborative agreements with other institutions or partners involved in research projects.
- Assist in financial forecasting for research projects to project future funding needs and ensure adequate financial planning.
- Identify potential financial risks and issues that may impact the successful execution of research projects.

Pay Range
