Join us, grow with us, and together, let's shape the future of biological discovery. ‎ About the opportunity This role offers the opportunity to join QIAGEN’s production team in Gdańsk, supporting laboratory and manufacturing operations in a dynamic and quality-driven environment. As an Associate Specialist Operations you contribute to the preparation and production of chemical reagents and final products while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and quality standards. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, although daily operations are primarily locally based. This position is offered on a fixed-term contract until 2028 and requires strong Polish language skills and intermediate English for internal communication. Your tasks include Execution of protein formulation processes in accordance with established documentation, quality requirements, and production standards Preparing buffers and chemical solutions and executing production processes in line with production documentation Handling final product preparation, including aliquoting, labeling, packaging, and maintaining accurate production records Supporting documentation updates, creation of SOPs, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Logistics, Procurement, Technologists) to support production continuity and resolve issues Monitoring inventory levels, reporting shortages, and assisting with ordering laboratory materials and reagents Participating in process optimization, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives Maintaining laboratory readiness, equipment care (including validation/qualification), and supporting training of team members Your profile Completed secondary or higher education in biology, chemistry, biotechnology, or a related field Fluent Polish and intermediate English (B1/B2) required for documentation and collaboration Openness to work under a fixed-term employment contract until 31.12.2027 First experience in a laboratory, production, or operations environment is an advantage Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and documentation accurately Proactive and collaborative mindset with willingness to work across teams when needed Motivation to learn and develop within a production/laboratory environment What we offer Private medical care Multisport card Training and development programs Flexible benefits platform Language classes Friendly atmosphere Casual dress code Employee Assistance Program and internal QIAGEN communities Our people are the heartbeat of everything we do.
