About the role As a Corporate Communications & Press Office Intern, you will support a broad range of global external communications initiatives within the Global Corporate Communications team. This internship offers hands-on experience across media relations, corporate communications, executive communications, reputation management, corporate storytelling, and strategic messaging. You will play an important role in supporting the Global Press Office while helping modernize the team's communications tools, processes, and knowledge management capabilities. You will work closely with experienced communications professionals on high-visibility global initiatives that strengthen Wolters Kluwer's reputation and ensure consistent, compelling communications across our divisions, regions, and external stakeholders. As part of the internship, you will help shape the future of our Global Press Office by supporting AI-enabled communications workflows, developing centralized communications resources, maintaining media and messaging databases, and contributing to innovative ways of working that improve collaboration, efficiency, and communications excellence. What will you do Core responsibilities Support the Global External Communications team in executing external communications initiatives Contribute to the modernization of the Global Press Office by helping improve communications processes, tools, and knowledge management Assist the Global Press Office in managing incoming media inquiries and coordinating timely responses Maintain and continuously improve the global Tier 1 media database, ensuring media contacts remain accurate, relevant, and actionable Support the planning and maintenance of the global editorial calendar for corporate announcements, executive communications, and key company milestones Assist in the production and maintenance of global corporate communications assets, including corporate presentations, company fact sheets, executive biographies, media kits, and executive briefing materials Build and maintain a centralized repository of corporate announcements, key messages, positioning statements, FAQs, and communications resources Support messaging consistency and governance across divisions, ensuring all external communications reinforce the Wolters Kluwer corporate brand, positioning, and reputation Coordinate with communications colleagues across regions and divisions to ensure aligned planning, messaging, and execution Conduct media monitoring, benchmarking, and reporting on corporate communications activities Support thought leadership, executive communications, and reputation-building initiatives Press Office & Media Relations Monitor and triage incoming media inquiries, ensuring appropriate routing and timely follow-up Maintain and enhance media lists and journalist relationships through regular database management Support the distribution, tracking, and reporting of global press releases and corporate announcements Help coordinate communications activities around earnings announcements, corporate news, executive interviews, and other key moments Corporate Messaging & Communications Excellence Maintain the global library of corporate announcements, messaging frameworks, and positioning statements Help ensure consistency of corporate messaging across business divisions and communication channels Support the development of corporate storytelling assets and company overview materials Assist with governance of corporate communications templates and presentation materials Contribute to continuous improvement of communications processes and knowledge management AI & Communications Innovation Help identify opportunities to modernize the Global Press Office through AI-enabled communications workflows Explore and support the use of AI tools to improve media monitoring, content creation, and reporting Support the development of AI-assisted workflows for drafting press materials, media summaries, presentations, and executive briefing documents Research emerging AI capabilities in corporate communications and share practical applications for the team Help build prompt libraries, AI best practices, and reusable communications resources to improve efficiency across the function What do you bring Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Media Studies, Business, or a related field Strong interest in corporate communications, media relations, reputation management, and storytelling Passion for innovation and curiosity about how AI can transform communications and media relations Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in an international environment Analytical mindset with strong research and problem-solving skills Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn Nice to have
