Job Summary
The Driver Technician is responsible for the safe operation of a DOT-regulated vehicle to transport materials and equipment between locations. In addition to driving responsibilities, this role performs field service activities at customer sites, including troubleshooting and supporting mechanical, electrical, and diesel systems (based on business unit requirements). This position requires strong problem-solving skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while interfacing directly with customers across multiple sites and technologies. Safely operate DOT-regulated vehicles to transport equipment and materials Perform field service activities at customer locations in a safe and efficient manner Troubleshoot and support mechanical, electrical, and diesel systems as needed Identify and resolve safety issues on both company and customer-owned equipment Maintain a safe work environment and promote a strong safety culture Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams Protect and maintain company equipment and property Work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision Must be able to travel overnight as needed Minimum
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to obtain and maintain company driving privileges Class A CDL with tanker endorsement Clean driving record Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card Ability to obtain required customer clearances (e.g., TWIC, DISA) Ability to obtain a valid passport and travel across borders if needed Preferred
