Responsibilities
As a High Voltage Substation Control, protection & low voltage system designer Lead Engineer, your main responsibility is to ensure their design reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards, protection standard, and regulations Collaboration with other engineers and support for project documentation and continuous improvement initiatives are also key aspects of this role Design and integrate is your main task, leading and support the team in charge of designing the Control system, protection system, Electrical distribution, telecom & monitoring of a High Voltage substation Delivering for example single line diagram, schematic diagram, protection system, electrical consumption and design of auxiliary services, interlocking, communication & network: it’s a wide domain with a lot of possibilities Required
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college from Electrical Engineer Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in related activity/discipline in project & EPC type environment in HV substations Minimum 7 years of engineering experience in energy sector or oil and gas Up to 20% travel within MEA & Europe along with other countries/regions for short or medium period based on requirement Strong verbal and written skills in English and Turkish Ability to live in Ankara Desired Characteristics: Knowledge of Project organization and engineering processes related to scope of activity Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders Provide technical support to customers and project teams Initiate & support the procurement of equipment Compliance with Quality processes and procedures and GE policies and procedures
Experience
in technical problem solving Discipline Design reviews & Gate reviews plan formalized and followed, to ensure the integration into the overall substation design ROR integrates design part and Mitigation plan formalized and actions status identified (not started, ongoing, closed.)
