Responsibilities

Develops and executes planning and strategy for assigned research program Leads relationship management with internal and external stakeholders including clients and funding agencies Independently seeks and writes grants and project proposals, develops business plans, and identifies new projects to generate funding Leads and manages research projects including scope, budget, resource management, deliverables, and reporting Conducts applied research and performs advanced analysis Plans and presents results in reports, publications, technical white papers, and meetings. Serves as lead author Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of engineering principles, system design, and applied technologies across relevant domains Knowledge of safety standards, compliance requirements, and quality assurance protocols in technical environments Knowledge of publishing and reporting requirements Skill in project management including the supervision of others Ability to manage and cultivate relationships with sponsors and stakeholders Ability to independently contribute to professional conferences, societies, committees, or review groups Minimum
