Job Description Job Purpose/Overview This role is responsible for driving the ongoing evolution of commercial (procurement) orchestration capabilities. We are seeking an experienced ET Commercial Tech Ops Lead to ensure that Zip workflows, integrations, data flows, and configurations meet the highest standards of security, compliance, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with Procurement, DT, and middleware teams to establish secure deployment pipelines, guardrails, and monitoring. Responsibilities
· Lead the technology operations for the Procurement Orchestration Solution, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability of the platform. · Lead and actively contribute to deployment, operational activities, and continuous improvement of procurement orchestration tools and platforms, including setting up, testing, and supporting integrations between ZIP and legacy applications. · Lead root cause analysis and resolution of technical issues, minimizing downtime and operational impact · Build and identify issues with data models to improve data integrity and application performance · Provides guidance during technical discussions and supports technical decision-making/ issue resolution and sizing estimates of work · Support managing the digital product's total cost of ownership (TCO) and track profitability and performance metrics. Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met. · Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to procurement technology. Collaborates with Enabling Tech (e.g. Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity) and Platform teams to design and enforce security standards for Zip workflows, automation steps, and integrations Coordinate change management processes, release schedules, and communication plans to ensure smooth deployments and updates Stay ahead of market trends and leverage emerging digital technologies within the procurement orchestration capability to maintain a competitive advantage Job Specifications/
Qualifications
Proven experience in technology operations leadership, preferably in procurement, or supply chain domains. Strong understanding of procurement processes, orchestration platforms, and enterprise technology ecosystems.
Experience
with cloud-based solutions, low-code/no-code principals, API integrations, automation tools, and proficient use of the Jinja templating engine.
Experience
implementing access and role-based security Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfort translating technical requirements for business stakeholders Familiarity with compliance standards and risk management in technology operations.
