Duties
65%- Administrative Administration of the DC Summer Institutes (DCSI), a professional internship student program using extensive experiential learning opportunities.
Duties
will include: Managing and tracking student applications. Conducting interviews with student applicants. Organizing and facilitating student on-boarding and orientation. Regularly communicating with students. Facilitating a structured student mentorship program. Coordinating student internships, including liaising with students and employer partners. Assist in the administration of the summer internship course including meetings with students and their internship supervisors. Design and run non-academic student programming. Program assessment and adjustments based on that assessment. All other program logistics. 30%- Marketing and Communications Led by the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Program Coordinator will be an integral part of the Center’s integrated marketing and communications strategy.
Duties
include: Assisting in the creation of marketing materials and collateral. Serving as the assistant webmaster for the Washington Center’s online presence.
