The primary focus of this role is the delivery of B2B customer and partner portal experiences, with the ability to expand into additional customer-facing and internal portal use cases over time. This is a hands-on architecture role responsible for defining and implementing the front-end application architecture, reusable component strategy, and supporting backend logic on the Salesforce Platform. A dedicated UX team will provide design systems, site information architecture, and finalized UI designs. This role owns the implementation of those designs in code—ensuring consistency, scalability, performance, and accessibility across all portal experiences. Key

Cloud, primarily focused on B2B customer and partner experiences, with extensibility to customer and internal portal use cases Define and own role-based portal experience architecture, including navigation patterns, service journeys, and access models for external and internal users Lead development of reusable UI components using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and LWR (Lightning Web Runtime), with awareness of Aura for legacy or transitional needs, while establishing portal-wide standards for reuse, performance, and maintainability Own implementation of the design system in code, including consistent styling, theming, and component behavior, extending Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and

Qualifications
7+ years of experience on the Salesforce Platform 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce

Cloud Proven experience building B2B portal or customer-facing web applications Strong hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and LWR (Lightning Web Runtime) Familiarity with Aura components for legacy or hybrid environments
Experience
working with or extending B2B Commerce templates and storefront capabilities Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Apex
Experience
implementing design systems within Salesforce (SLDS, theming, reusable components)
Experience
designing security, sharing, and external user access models
Experience
integrating Salesforce with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware)
