The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid actively participates in serving prospective and current students and their families through financial aid related services. Financial Aid officers provide counseling for prospective and current students (and their parents when applicable) regarding available sources of financial aid. Ability to present comprehensive financial aid information to individuals and groups is strongly desired. Financial Aid Officers will maintain an understanding of the federal needs analysis, financial aid application process, and federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies. Participation in training through national and state financial aid organization membership, UW System, and the Department of

Represent UW-Parkside Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid at university events and events off campus (Events include presentations, assisting with FAFSA filing, serving as a representative at resource tables, or other duties as needed) Provide counseling to students and families about financial aid process, paperwork, budgeting, and payment Assist in collecting of paperwork, explaining requirements, and reviewing documentation Review financial aid applications, and assist with the processing of awarding various aid programs Assist in reporting requirements to various third-party stakeholders; scholarship organizations, state agencies, or the Department of

Maintain regulatory compliance with federal and state regulations related to financial aid and student data Other duties as assigned Key
