Position Summary The HR Operations Administration Analyst III provides advanced operational and system administration support for Workday and other HR technology platforms. This role serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for HR processes, data management, system administration, and issue resolution, ensuring the delivery of accurate, efficient, and compliant HR services. Working independently, the analyst partners with HR, IT, Payroll, and other business stakeholders to resolve complex issues, support system enhancements, maintain data integrity, and drive process improvements. The role also leads testing activities, provides guidance to junior team members, and supports HR technology initiatives that enhance the employee experience and operational efficiency. Responsibilities
HR Systems Administration & Support Serve as an advanced support resource for Workday and related HR applications. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system and process-related issues. Manage escalated support requests and provide resolution within established service levels. Maintain knowledge articles, process documentation, and support procedures. Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members on system functionality and best practices. Business Process Administration Administer and support Workday business processes and workflows. Analyze business requirements and implement approved system updates and enhancements. Support process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, compliance, and user experience. Ensure adherence to established controls, policies, and governance requirements. Data Management & Reporting Oversee data integrity, validation, and audit activities across HR systems. Manage mass data updates, uploads, data corrections, and maintenance activities. Support the creation and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics. Identify data quality issues and recommend corrective actions and process improvements. Security & Access Administration Administer user access, security roles, and permissions in accordance with established policies. Process complex security and delegation requests while ensuring compliance requirements are met. Support periodic access reviews and audit activities. Partner with HR, IT, and Compliance teams on security-related initiatives. Testing & Change Management Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and validation activities for system enhancements and releases. Develop test plans, execute test scenarios, and document outcomes. Assess impacts of system changes and recommend solutions to minimize operational disruption. Support implementation and change management activities related to HR systems. Stakeholder Partnership & Continuous Improvement Partner with HR Centers of Excellence, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and IT teams to support business needs. Provide recommendations that improve system functionality, operational effectiveness, and employee experience. Support audits, compliance reviews, and cross-functional projects. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational excellence objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS, Workday Administration, Application Support, or related disciplines.
Experience
supporting Workday or other Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms. Strong understanding of HR business processes, data management, security administration, and system support.
Experience
with ServiceNow or other ticketing and case management systems.
Experience
supporting system implementations, upgrades, releases, and testing activities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
