Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and evaluation of water and wastewater treatment equipment, steel structures, skids, tanks, platforms, and supports. Develop engineering calculations, FEA simulation models, technical reports, and design documentation to support product development and project execution. Execute structural assessments including static, seismic, wind, and anchorage evaluations using engineering calculations and simulation tools. Support design verification, troubleshooting, optimization, and resolution of structural engineering challenges. Collaborate with global engineering teams and stakeholders to communicate technical findings and recommendations. Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, design practices, and quality requirements. Contribute to continuous improvement, standardization, and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.

Qualifications

Full-time M.Tech. in Structural Engineering preferred. B.Tech./B.E. in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with relevant structural analysis experience may also be considered. 4–6 years of hands-on experience in structural analysis, simulation, and design within industrial, water, wastewater, process equipment, or heavy engineering industries.

Experience

with steel structures, equipment supports, anchorage systems, tanks, skids, and industrial structures preferred. Technical Competencies Strong understanding of structural analysis principles, load paths, structural behaviour, and engineering fundamentals.

Experience

in steel structure design with working knowledge of LRFD and ASD methodologies. Knowledge of ASCE 7 load criteria, load combinations, wind loading, seismic loading, and structural design provisions.

Experience

in anchorage evaluation, connection design, and understanding of structural failure modes and limit states. Ability to perform engineering hand calculations and develop calculation sheets for member sizing and load assessments. Ability to interpret, validate simulation results using sound engineering judgement. Working knowledge of structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, Robot Structural Analysis, ANSYS Mechanical or equivalent simulation tools. Behavioural Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
