Job Title: Grants and Contracts Management Senior Analyst 3 Department: Public Health | College Administration The Grants & Contracts Management Senior Analyst independently manages complex pre-award grant support activities for principal investigators (PIs) within the College of Public Health (CPH). This position provides advanced expertise in proposal development, budget preparation, submission, and administrative compliance, and serves as an experienced advisor to investigators and research staff. Responsibilities
include independently developing and reviewing complex and multi-year grant budgets, establishing subrecipient budgets and documentation, and advising investigators on submission timelines, requirements, and best practices. The Senior Analyst reviews and evaluates proposal components for compliance with sponsor guidelines and university policies, provides guidance on administrative requirements such as effort commitments and allowable costs, and proactively identifies and resolves pre-award issues. The role advises investigators on proposal strategies and supports the preparation of more complex applications, including multi-investigator and interdisciplinary proposals. This position applies advanced knowledge of sponsored research compliance requirements, including human and animal subjects research, financial conflict of interest, conflict of commitment, and related regulatory areas. The Senior Analyst assists investigators in preparing and submitting required compliance documentation and ensures required trainings and disclosures are completed within sponsor-specified timelines. The Grants & Contracts Management Senior Analyst contributes to training and knowledge sharing, and supports continuous improvement of pre-award processes and tools. Pay Range
