We’re looking for a IT Architect to join our ever evolving team and help shape the future of global commerce. What you’ll own Architectural Approach & Roadmap Design: Oversee application systems, data workflows, and logical interfaces while collaborating with clients to design strategic IT Roadmaps that map out architectural complexities. System Synergy & Performance Optimization: Assure structural synergy between software and hardware environments, analyzing existing infrastructure and capacity planning to guarantee optimal application performance. Deficiency Diagnostics & Technical Recommendations: Research new technological advances and analyze existing production systems to detect critical deficiencies, recommending systemic improvements and process controls. Full-Lifecycle Engineering & Compliance: Write, modify, and install complex software configurations and documentation across multiple database systems, enforcing strict Payment Card Industry (PCI) and data security compliance. Vendor & RFP Leadership: Provide guidance to leadership and alternate functional areas during Request for Proposal (RFP) cycles, handling vendor evaluation and hardware/software requirement planning. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Synergy: Determine operational methods on new assignments, coordinate the activities of peer engineering teams, and solicit feedback to continuously improve information systems. What you’ll bring Educational Foundation: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related technical field (equivalent experience considered). Professional Experience: Minimum of 6 years of deep professional experience with full lifecycle system design and development (or 8+ years with a high school diploma). Enterprise Mainframe Mastery: Comprehensive technical experience with IBM Mainframe ecosystems, including COBOL, JCL, CICS, z/OS, DB2, IMS, Assembler, VSAM, XML, TSO/ISPF, and MQ. Tandem / HP Non-Stop Utilities: Strong foundational knowledge of HP Non-Stop hardware platforms, leveraging Scobol, COBOL, SQL, Enscribe, and TAL. Complex Analytical Capability: Wide-ranging engineering experience using professional concepts to resolve complex software, database, and variable infrastructure data bottlenecks in creative ways. Autonomy & Leadership Trajectory: Proven ability to independently define procedures on new assignments, coordinate technical personnel, and network with key contacts outside your immediate area of expertise. It’s a bonus if you have Advanced Academic Credentials: Master's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. Deep Tooling & Distributed Systems Fluency: Practical familiarity with specialized tools like Easytrieve, CA-7, NDM, RDz, Syncsort, SPUFI, or distributed technologies (Java, Spring, .NET, C#, C++, Cloud/Web Services, and Test Automation Frameworks).
