You will develop and release new sizes (Sidewall, Apex, Tread) in line with Goodyear global and regional guidelines. You will conduct trials for new extrudates including Sidewall, Tread, and Apex components. You will monitor extrudate performance as per GICL specifications to ensure quality standards are consistently met. You will analyze rejection data at both the extruder and user areas, and implement effective action plans to minimize defects. You will maintain and ensure adherence to product and process guideline specifications. You will manage day-to-day operations while ensuring alignment with environmental standards and assessing environmental impact. You will take ownership of extruder quality, including building strong knowledge of equipment and associated delivery systems. You will investigate, understand, and analyze the interaction between compounds, equipment, and desired extrudate outcomes. You will apply your understanding of green properties and their influence on component processing. You will monitor and maintain extrudate profiles, weight consistency, and rejection levels for Sidewall, Apex, and Tread components. You will control and manage milling waste and address slow-moving component inventory effectively. You will be responsible for environmental management, including controlling spillage, minimizing waste, and promoting recycle and reuse practices. You will ensure strict control of water, solid waste, chemical waste, noise, and odor during extrusion operations to prevent resource depletion and environmental pollution. You will follow operational and spillage control procedures rigorously.
