Position Summary The Product Manager, SEA is responsible for developing and executing product strategy for assigned product lines across SEA within Brenntag Essentials. This role drives profitable growth through portfolio optimization, supplier management, pricing strategy, market intelligence, and close collaboration with country commercial teams. Key
Responsibilities
1. Product & Portfolio Management Manage assigned product portfolio across SEA markets, including lifecycle management. Identify growth opportunities in new applications, segments, and countries. Evaluate portfolio performance and recommend expansion, rationalization, or repositioning strategies. Drive product innovation and commercialization of new offerings. 2. Commercial Growth & Profitability Deliver regional revenue, gross profit, and margin targets for assigned product lines. Define pricing frameworks and pricing governance across SEA. Support country sales teams in strategic bids and large commercial opportunities. Analyze revenue growth, margin performance, market share, product profitability, and customer retention. Improve mix toward higher-margin products and strategic customers. 3. Supplier & Principal Management Build and manage supplier/principal relationships. Negotiate supply agreements, pricing terms, rebates/incentives, and regional exclusivity arrangements. Ensure supply reliability and business continuity. Conduct regular supplier business reviews. Position Brenntag as preferred channel partner in APAC. 4. Market Intelligence & Business Development Monitor market trends, feedstock pricing, competitor activity, and supply-demand dynamics. Conduct market analysis on size, growth trends, customer needs, and industry changes. Identify opportunities from regulatory shifts, raw material disruptions, and emerging customer demands. Share market intelligence with leadership and country teams. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Country Business Managers, Sales Teams, Supply Chain, Procurement, Regulatory/Compliance, Finance, and Technical/Application teams.
Responsibilities

Customer & Technical Support Support customer meetings and regional key accounts. Provide product positioning and value proposition for customer presentations. Assist with technical and commercial problem solving. Drive value-selling instead of price-based selling. 7. Reporting & Governance Prepare and present monthly/quarterly business reviews covering sales performance, margin development, pricing changes, supplier performance, market outlook, and pipeline opportunities.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline
Experience
