We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our ever evolving API Operations team within GlobalTech Poland Sp. z o.o and help shape the future of global commerce. What you’ll own Serve as the first line of defense for production incidents, ensuring rapid triage, root cause analysis, resolution, and collaboration with engineering teams where needed. Monitor system health and performance of APIs and integrations, tracking and investigating latency, failures, and escalations. Collaborate with platform engineers to implement observability, logging, and alerting best practices for API services. Build and maintain diagnostic tools, runbooks, workflows, knowledge bases, and playbooks to improve incident response and enable repeatable troubleshooting. Partner with governance and compliance teams to ensure proper incident documentation, contribute to retrospectives, and drive continuous improvement of production systems. What you’ll bring 3+ years of experience in production support, SRE, or DevOps (preferably with Apigee APIs), with strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred) and observability tools. Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, and programming languages such as Python and JavaScript for automation and troubleshooting. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and incident management skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with ability to work proactively, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines with accuracy. English proficiency at B2-C1 level and Czech/ Polish proficiency at B1-B2 level. It’s a bonus if you have Experience with CI/CD tools and alerts/monitoring automation.
