Responsibilities

Direct daily activities of inventory control to achieve maximum efficiency Run daily reports and distribute work to the appropriate Inventory personnel Effectively communicate daily goals Monitor the day-to-day operations and performance of the distribution department, applying LEAN principles to execute operations efficiently. Collect data from safety and performance observations and share findings with the supervisor to improve performance. Operate mobile-powered equipment safely as per training and management directives. Assist with training in all Inventory Control roles and assist employees with daily duties, including: Reconciling inventory discrepancies to maintain stock levels and communicate variances to teams. Processing returns, warranty claims, recalls, and exchanges through an internal system. Conducting cycle counts for all inventory. Collaborating with corporate to ensure timely sizing, billing, and shipping of seasonal inventory. Processing damaged stock and repairing items for restocking when possible. Auditing team performance and providing evaluations with feedback and recommendations. Measuring and preparing new inventory, correcting sizing discrepancies, and optimizing placement for efficiency. Assisting receiving with exception management, vendor communication, and oversight of the exceptions area.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college experience or diploma preferred. Prior Relevant Work

1-3 years Essential

Qualifications

Physical demands: Frequently lift 20 to 50 pounds. Occasionally lift 75lbs. Frequent bending, reaching and stooping. Constant walking, standing, lifting, pulling and climbing stairs. Comfortable leading your peers. Ability to read, write, and count accurately. Ability to exercise sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable working on a computer or tablet, running reports, and using Excel. Ability to work overtime and/or flexible hours if needed. Open to performing other duties as assigned by leadership. Understanding of distribution center operations.

Preferred Qualifications

Past leadership experience. Advanced problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

working with a web-based WMS system. Inventory or Quality Control

Experience

in a Distribution Center. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally at all levels of the organization. Past vehicle experience on a Double Reach truck. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $34.15 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
