Job Summary
The Manufacturing Quality Entry Analyst is responsible for supporting the quality assurance processes within the manufacturing environment. This role involves conducting basic quality inspections, collecting and analyzing data, and assisting in the implementation of quality control procedures. The Entry Analyst works closely with senior quality analysts and supervisors to ensure that products meet established quality standards. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis • Collect and analyze data from manufacturing processes and systems • Identify trends and patterns in data to identify areas for improvement • Report findings to management and suggest potential solutions • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data through regular audits and quality checks Quality Control • Monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards • Conduct quality inspections and tests to identify any defects or issues • Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality concerns • Maintain and update quality control documentation and procedures Process Improvement • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs • Conduct root cause analysis to determine the cause of quality issues and develop corrective actions • Work with cross functional teams to implement process improvements and track their effectiveness • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for further improvement Communication and Collaboration • Communicate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure quality standards are met • Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to address quality issues and implement solutions • Participate in cross functional meetings to discuss and resolve quality concerns • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on quality goals and initiatives. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. • Basic understanding of inventory management principles and practices. • Proficiency in inventory management software and data entry. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
