As a Senior IT Endpoint Analyst, you will lead the implementation, support, and continual improvement of the organization's endpoint infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripheral equipment. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality endpoint solutions—ensuring security, performance, and user satisfaction. This role serves as a bridge between technical teams and end users, with a focus on lifecycle planning, issue resolution, capacity management, and consultation. You will also serve as a mentor to team members and lead initiatives in collaboration with the Endpoint Engineering team to drive standardization and innovation. Endpoint Strategy & Delivery: Translate business needs into technical requirements for endpoint engineering projects, cost-saving initiatives, and system enhancements, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives. Deployment & Implementation: Lead or participate in testing, deployment, and implementation of new endpoint solutions, ensuring minimal business disruption and adherence to IT standards. Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend innovative uses of existing endpoint and productivity technologies to automate processes, reduce manual effort, and maximize ROI. Asset Lifecycle Management: Manage the lifecycle of endpoint hardware and software, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and accessories, while ensuring all asset additions, updates, and retirements are accurately tracked in the CMDB to support lifecycle visibility and compliance Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure, Applications and Security teams to prepare associates for new technology deployments and ensure consistent compliance with security protocols. Escalation & Troubleshooting: Serve as a point of escalation for complex endpoint issues from the Service Desk; perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence. Training & Field Support: Provide on-site or virtual assistance with deployments, troubleshooting, and associate training; ensure adoption of endpoint solutions across locations. Standardization & Automation: Simplify, standardize, and automate endpoint management processes to improve efficiency and scalability across the enterprise. Technology Awareness: Stay current on endpoint technology trends, tools, and methodologies to anticipate business needs and recommend emerging solutions. Governance & Compliance: Abide by all company policies, safety regulations, and procedures while supporting Smithfield’s programs, goals, and initiatives. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Technical Expertise: Broad experience administering and supporting Windows, Apple, and Android devices, including desktops, laptops, virtual desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. The expected pay range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 annually. Smithfield Foods provides pay ranges that reflect its good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage the company reasonably expects to pay for a position at the time of hire. Individual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, location of the position, the candidate’s qualifications and experience, internal equity, external market pay for comparable positions and budget considerations.
