Job description Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plastic extrusion lines. Re-programming machines and robots. experience with Fanuc Robots is a plus. Visually inspect, test, diagnose, and troubleshoot faulty equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment. Install new or repaired parts to keep machines running at a high standard. Read and interpret equipment manuals and schematic prints (electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical) to perform required maintenance and service. Work effectively and efficiently with production and senior leadership to solve problems. Working as a team player to reach consistent output goals Maintaining a safe workspace and commitment to following Astemo’s safety mission and standards. Our ideal candidate is: A driven team-player who is eager to learn. Two years of technical school training in Industrial Maintenance, Machine Repair, Automated Systems, or other similar skilled trades is desired, along with 2 or more years of verifiable work experience in related fields.
Experience
with PLCs, drives, and industrial controls is desired. Work schedule is 3rd shift working one weekend per month.
