Description If you are passionate about driving operational excellence and building a culture of continuous improvement, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Based at our Forney Distribution Center, you will serve as the site's dedicated Continuous Improvement Leader, responsible for driving operational excellence through the Copeland Business System (CBS). This role will partner with Operations, Inventory, Customer Service, Materials, Quality, and Engineering to identify improvement opportunities, eliminate waste, standardize processes, and build sustainable operating systems that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity. This position operates under the general guidance of the Plant Manager. As the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will: Serve as the site's dedicated CBS (Copeland Business System) Leader, driving deployment and sustainment of continuous improvement initiatives Partner with site leadership to develop and execute the site's Continuous Improvement roadmap aligned with business priorities Coach leaders and functional teams on the application of CBS principles, Lean methodologies, and problem-solving tools Facilitate Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Root Cause Analysis, A3 problem solving, and other continuous improvement activities Develop and sustain Daily Management Systems, Leader Standard Work, Visual Management, Tier Meetings, and KPI management processes Identify process improvement opportunities across Operations, Inventory, Customer Service, Materials, Transportation, and Quality Standardize operating procedures (SOPs), improve process discipline, and ensure sustainable execution of improvements Analyze operational performance data and develop dashboards, reports, and metrics to support data-driven decision making Lead cross-functional improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, productivity, and customer satisfaction Develop business cases and capital appropriation requests to support operational improvement initiatives where appropriate Participate in the monthly Global CBS Community of Practice to share best practices, strengthen coaching capabilities, and align site priorities with Plant Leadership, Business Unit Operations Leadership, and Operational Excellence teams Support additional operational excellence initiatives and strategic projects as assigned by the Plant Manager Required education, experiences & skills: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field 5+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Lean, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or Distribution Center Operations Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives and driving measurable business results Strong knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience
facilitating Kaizen events, Root Cause Analysis, A3 problem solving, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, and Daily Management Systems Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools Excellent communication, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills Proven ability to influence without direct authority across multiple functions Demonstrated project management and change management experience Preferred education, experiences & skills: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification

with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (Oracle, SAP, Manhattan, etc.) Onsite Work Arrangement: This role is based fully onsite, and not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities. Standard working hours at the Forney Distribution Center are Monday through Friday.
