The Behavioral Health Division supports programs, policies, and services that promote recovery and wellbeing for people experiencing mental illness, substance use disorders, and gambling disorders. Within this work, the Aid and Assist, Community Restoration Evaluation Unit plays a vital role, overseeing operations and developing policies that shape forensic behavioral health services across Oregon. We are seeking a detail‑oriented, collaborative professional to provide essential administrative and operational support to the Aid and Assist, Community Restoration Evaluation Unit . In this central coordination role, you will ensure the smooth flow of information, documentation, and communication across teams and partners statewide. Your work will strengthen unit operations, maintain compliance, support staff and leadership, and help drive effective program activities that serve adults throughout Oregon’s behavioral health system. Qualifications

These qualifications must be reflected in your application for consideration. Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; OR An associate degree in general office occupations and one year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; OR An equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Details This announcement is for one, full-time, permanent, SEIU represented, Forensic Services Program Support (Administrative Specialist 1) position based in Salem, Oregon. The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying range. If the successful candidate qualifies for PERS, the salary range will increase by 6.95%.
