The Thermal Design/Analysis Engineer – is responsible for supporting the design, analysis, development, and documentation of mechanical systems and thermal environments for satellite product lines. You will join Boeing’s Space Mission Systems Engineering team and gain a comprehensive view of satellite design from contract initiation through build, test, and final launch. Responsibilities
Supporting the development, maintenance, or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers. Performing detail design and analysis development and modification of mechanical, electrical, and thermal system installations. Assisting in preparing technical documents for mechanical components and systems. Assisting in establishing and documenting environmental/thermal engineering and system-level design requirements, including: Performance Environment Functionality Life Envelope Integration Assisting in performing and documenting analyses of environmental/thermal components and systems using models and tools to validate or assess the design. Supporting the development of ideas and concepts for future environmental/thermal control. Providing support for launch and on-orbit spacecraft mission and spacecraft thermal vacuum testing.
