Your Role Maintenance Engineer is a professional responsible for coordinating the activities during general maintenance and routine up keep of the company’s facilities and equipment, avoiding breakdown, improve uptime, predictive and preventive maintenance. An excellent communicator with strong organizational and analytical skills and problem solving aptitude. Maintenance work must be performed effectively, and there must be a positive working relationship with the rest of the organization’s leadership. This position reports to Warehouse and Operations Manager.

Corrective, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Management. A structured process used to determine the exact maintenance tasks required to keep any asset operating efficiently in its specific operating context. MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures): Increasing the average operational time between machine breakdowns. MTTR (Mean Time to Repair): Decreasing the average time it takes to diagnose and repair a failure Develop, review, and ensure compliance with corrective, preventive, predictive maintenance procedures, policies, and safe work practices in line with Brenntag standards and regulatory requirements. Supervise day-to-day Maintenance activities and provide guidance to operational teams, at all sites. Mechanical and electrical systems of machine and buildings to ensure functionality. Support Warehouse and Operations Manager to do improvement and implementing KPI as setting based on facility and operation activities. Conduct internal audits and manage external audits by authorities or contractors or customers and suppliers. Monitor changes to relevant Engineering standards, regulations, and legislation and ensure timely implementation of necessary updates. Manage the maintenance expenses by ensuring best practices. Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities Process Safety, Engineering and Maintenance Control Work with operations to ensure safe handling, storage and implement engineering, safety and process safety in daily operations and transportation of chemical products. Issuing and managing critical safety documentation for high-risk field activities, including hot work, working at heights, and confined space entries, collaborate with Safety team. Support risk assessments for chemical processes, operational changes including warehouse activities. Oversee inspection of all processes on maintenance and engineering related. Investigate and resolve maintenance issues (e.g. major breakdown) or customer complaints in a timely manner. Regulatory Compliance Maintain up-to-date knowledge of engineering regulations, safety standards, best practice, local and international approach. Ensure compliance with international, national, and local regulations (e.g., chemical safety, ISO standards, Authorized Economic Operator standard, food, pharma/industry-specific regulations if applicable). Team Leadership Part of operational team and develop maintaining the facility and operations process to deliver high-quality standards consistently. Foster a culture of higher engineering standard, process safety, and continuous improvement. Process Improvement & Reporting Identify gaps in maintenance processes and implement improvement initiatives. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as downtime, turnaround times of maintenance, and audit results. Prepare reports for senior management on maintenance performance, risks, and improvement plans. Eliminating waste in the maintenance cycle for Lean Maintenance Collaboration Work closely with Operations, QSHE, Procurement, Logistics, Customer. Service and Sales teams to ensure that all facility requirements are integrated across the supply chain. Support the system and improvement within preventive maintenance in all aspect of organization. Your Profile

Formal education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or relevant background. Or higher degree, professional certifications (e.g., Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)) are highly desirable.

minimum of 3 years of experience in an HSE roles, or with minimum total experiences are 5 years Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (Engineering standard, best practice, OSHA protocols, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and Entry working permits). Ability to use tools like Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), for Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Technical Knowledge, understanding of Engineering principles, Proficiency in implementing Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance. Skill to quickly read and interpret engineering blueprints, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and electrical schematics. Coordinating third-party specialized technicians, verifying their method statements, and ensuring they sign off on site-specific safety regulations. Keeping an accurate stock of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) supplies to ensure critical spares are physically on-site when a machine breaks down. Skills, excellent training and presentation skills, managing contractor and engineering control. Strong auditing and regulatory compliance knowledge of Health Safety and Environmental standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Language in English (written and verbal). Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
