Job description
We're looking for a part-time merchandiser to join our Merchandising team and support stores in the Christchurch region. Hours: 13.5 hours total per week 9 hours merchandising in-store 4.5 hours paid travel between stores (mileage) The allocated travel time is built into the paid hours. No separate mileage reimbursement is provided. Stores include: New World St Martins Pak'nSave Moorhouse New World Durham Street New World Halswell New World Lincoln New World Rolleston Pak'nSave Rolleston What you'll be doing: Restocking and merchandising products to company standards Ensuring shelves are well presented and fully stocked Building and maintaining promotional displays (must be able to work Monday mornings to build displays) Rotating stock and checking ticketing/pricing Reporting any out-of-stock items or issues Taking photos and completing simple reporting after store visits Building positive relationships with store staff We're looking for someone who is: Reliable, organised and self-motivated Able to work independently Has great attention to detail Comfortable travelling between stores Holds a full driver's licence and has a reliable vehicle Previous merchandising or supermarket experience is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.
