Duties
and
Responsibilities
Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing, quality, and equipment-related issues through root cause analysis and implementation of permanent corrective actions. Design, develop, implement, and integrate production equipment, electrical control systems, pneumatic systems, and related manufacturing processes. Monitor and analyze key manufacturing performance indicators (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity) and implement actions to achieve operational targets. Support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives by providing engineering expertise to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Program, troubleshoot, and optimize automated manufacturing systems including PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, robots, sensors, and industrial communication networks. Drive cost reduction initiatives through waste elimination, cycle time reduction, material savings, automation, and continuous improvement projects. Provide technical support and training to production, maintenance, and engineering personnel as required. Develop, modify, and debug PLC programs to support new equipment installations, process improvements, and production requirements. Maintain, update, and control all engineering documentation, including process specifications, work instructions, equipment records, drawings, and program backups for the assigned Assembly area Support new model launches, equipment installations, and process validation activities to ensure successful implementation and production readiness. Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Suppliers, and Corporate Engineering teams to achieve production and business objectives. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Experience
with OMRON PLC programming software, including CX-Programmer and SYSWIN. Knowledge of quality and manufacturing tools, including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Process Quality Control Tables (PQCT).
Experience
supporting high-volume manufacturing environments. Familiarity with automated assembly processes, robotics, vision systems, and industrial controls.
Experience
leading process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong project management skills with experience supporting new product launches and equipment integration. Ability to analyze production data and implement corrective actions to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. Skills Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Communication Skills Must possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills effectively in Business English.
