The Role As the IT Business Relationship Management Manager, you will lead the development and management of strategic relationships between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure technology solutions align with business objectives. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, champion collaboration across functions, and drive initiatives that improve business performance, stakeholder satisfaction, and organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders and functional leaders across the organization. Partner with business teams to understand strategic objectives, identify opportunities, and align technology solutions with business needs. Serve as the primary liaison between business units and IT, facilitating effective communication, collaboration, and issue resolution. Lead the prioritization, planning, and execution of business-focused technology initiatives and improvement projects. Monitor stakeholder satisfaction, evaluate relationship effectiveness, and implement strategies that enhance business partnerships and service delivery. Lead, develop, and mentor a team of business relationship professionals while establishing performance goals, fostering collaboration, and supporting career growth. Required
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business relationship management, business analysis, project management, IT partnership management, or a related discipline. Minimum of 2 years of people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
Experience
partnering with business leaders and technology teams to deliver strategic initiatives and business outcomes.
Experience
managing multiple priorities, stakeholders, and projects in a dynamic environment. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
Experience
with CRM platforms and business analysis tools. Strong project management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, and execution. Ability to identify risks, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience
implementing formal Business Relationship Management (BRM) practices or frameworks. Project Management Professional (PMP), BRMP, CBAP, or other relevant professional certification.
Experience
supporting digital transformation, enterprise technology, or organizational change initiatives. Knowledge of IT service management principles and governance frameworks.
Experience
within a global manufacturing, industrial, or technology-driven organization.
