As a Senior Master Data Specialist, you will be part of a team focused on ensuring that master data is governed, trusted, and aligned across the enterprise. You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders worldwide, driving transformation initiatives that improve data quality, accelerate decision-making, and support Novonesis’ purpose through data excellence. The Role & Your Impact As a strategic expert in Master Data Management (MDM), you will lead enterprise-wide initiatives that modernize master data capabilities, strengthen governance frameworks, and enable business transformation. This is a highly collaborative role that combines strategic leadership, project management, change management, and data governance. Key responsibilities include: Lead transformation initiatives to modernize master data management tools, processes, and practices. Drive process optimization and automation opportunities across master data workflows. Ensure master data readiness and alignment during ERP, CRM, and other large-scale system transformations. Develop and execute change management strategies that drive adoption of new data processes and governance frameworks. Manage high-impact master data projects, including scope definition, stakeholder alignment, and delivery execution. Establish and maintain enterprise-wide master data governance standards, policies, and best practices. Conduct data quality assessments and implement improvements that increase data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Partner with business process owners to ensure governance frameworks support operational and compliance requirements. Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on best practices in master data management. Mentor and coach junior team members while contributing to the long-term master data strategy of Novonesis. What You’ll Need to Be Successful We imagine you bring: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Project Management, Data Governance, or a related discipline. Strong experience working with ERP, CRM, and/or MDM platforms such as SAP or Salesforce. Solid understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and change management methodologies. Proven track record of leading complex projects and coordinating cross-functional teams in global organizations. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making across organizational levels. Advanced knowledge of master data domains, including customer, supplier, product, and financial data. Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business challenges into effective data solutions. Professional proficiency in English. Additional Skills & Interests We Value It would be an advantage if you also have:

Experience

supporting large-scale digital transformation programs. Knowledge of emerging MDM technologies and data governance trends.

Experience

designing and implementing data quality frameworks. Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to enterprise data.

Experience

delivering training, workshops, or organizational change initiatives. Certifications in project management, change management, data governance, or related disciplines.
