About you and this role As the I2C Accounting Leader, you will lead an Invoice-to-Cash team and be responsible for all aspects of people leadership, including performance management, staffing and interviewing, coaching, and daily operations. This role also serves as the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) focal point for the relevant processes and acts as the External/Internal Audit focal point, coordinating across multiple functions to support the Order-to-Cash cycle as needed. Your responsibilities include: Leads a team consisting of I2C Specialists. Works closely with specified Dow Businesses to support ongoing communications and act as a single point of contact. Monitors business metrics and act as a learning leader for the Businesses. Translates business strategies into operational excellence. Collaborates with Credit, Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and Customer Service Managers. Provides guidance to the execution teams regarding the Collections and Disputes work process to and resolves operational issues on a day-to-day basis. Also have a good understanding of accounting policies that relate to these processes. Works closely with the Regional Process Owner (RPO) to align strategy monitor business metrics and identify action for any items based on predefined KPIs Fosters standardization and continuous improvement mindset by educating the business on service level agreements and work process excellence Attend Business Units leadership meetings, prioritize continuous improvement requests from the business, and continually identify areas for improvement. Communicates and follows up with key stakeholders to resolve issues and answer any questions in a timely manner. Acts as a main focal to provide the Invoice to Cash organization with deep business knowledge and communicate any relevant business changes Conduct periodic reviews to ensure work activities adhere to internal and external compliance standards (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Management and Business Administration degrees is preferred. Min experience: 10+ yrs. working experience Proficiency in SAP (ERP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Fluent in English (Spoken and written) Your skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong leadership and teamwork skills Customer advocate. Energetic and results driven with a hands-on approach to the job Understands business strategies and implications to service levels Strong understanding of work process methodologies, especially those related to the Invoice to Cash Advanced people skills with focus on teamwork and motivational approach Able to work in flexible time arrangements to accommodate to time zone. Additional Note: Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
