Job Description Summary The Compliance Assurance Leader is responsible for designing, leading, and continuously enhancing GE Vernova’s compliance assurance program, with a large focus on Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption (ABAC) program. This role provides independent, risk-based insight into the effectiveness of compliance controls and helps drive a strong culture of accountability across the organization. Reporting to the ABAC Compliance Executive Director, this is a player-coach role combining hands-on assurance execution with program leadership. This role leads a small team of compliance assurance specialists while actively shaping methodology, leveraging data analytics and AI-enabled capabilities, delivering assurance reviews, and influencing business stakeholders to strengthen control environments. Responsibilities

Compliance Assurance Strategy & Planning Develop and own a risk-based compliance assurance plan, aligned with enterprise risk priorities and regulatory expectations Conduct periodic risk assessments to define assurance scope, focus areas, and testing frequency Use data-driven insights to identify emerging risk areas and optimize assurance coverage Continuously update assurance plans to reflect emerging risks, regulatory developments, and business changes Assurance Execution (Testing & Monitoring) Lead and perform compliance assurance activities, including control testing, monitoring, and thematic reviews Design and execute data-driven testing approaches using structured and unstructured data to increase assurance coverage and identify anomalies, trends, and potential control gaps Assess the design and operating effectiveness of compliance policies, procedures, and controls Leverage data analytics, visualization tools, and AI-enabled solutions to improve testing efficiency, identify risk indicators, and enhance monitoring capabilities Ensure assurance work is risk-focused, well-documented, and aligned with established methodologies Issue Identification & Remediation Identify control weaknesses, process gaps, and non-compliance issues Clearly articulate findings, including root cause and risk impact Track and validate remediation actions, ensuring timely and effective resolution Partner with stakeholders to drive sustainable improvements, not just issue closure Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement Deliver clear, concise, and decision-ready reporting on assurance findings, trends, and emerging risks Develop dashboards and management reporting to communicate key assurance metrics and monitoring results Provide actionable insights to compliance leadership and senior business stakeholders Influence stakeholders to take ownership of remediation and strengthen control frameworks Methodology & Continuous Improvement Enhance compliance assurance methodologies, tools, and templates to improve efficiency, consistency, and insight Expand the use of data analytics, continuous monitoring, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities across assurance activities Integrate data analytics and automation into assurance activities to expand coverage and effectiveness Collaborate closely with internal audit, risk management, and other second-line functions to ensure alignment Team Leadership Lead, coach, and develop a small team of compliance assurance specialists Build analytical capabilities within the team, including the effective use of data analytics and AI tools Allocate work, monitor progress, and ensure high-quality, consistent delivery Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement Audit & Regulatory Support Support internal audits and regulatory examinations, including preparation of documentation and evidence Ensure assurance activities are well-documented, defensible, and aligned with regulatory expectations What Success Looks Like A fully implemented, risk-based assurance plan covering key compliance risks High-quality assurance reviews delivered on time with clear, actionable insights Use of analytics, continuous monitoring, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities across assurance activities Reduction in repeat findings through effective root cause analysis and remediation validation Strong stakeholder engagement and ownership of compliance improvements Measurable improvements in assurance efficiency, coverage, and quality through use of technology Required

Experience

Qualifications

Major experience in compliance, internal audit, or risk assurance Strong expertise in Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption (ABAC) frameworks and broader compliance controls Proven experience designing and executing control testing and assurance programs

Experience

using data analytics to support monitoring, testing, risk assessments, and assurance activities Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Excel, or similar)

Experience
