Windows System Administration & Operations Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) Manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and Windows services Monitor system performance and ensure system stability and uptime Perform patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management using enterprise tools 2. Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve system, application, and infrastructure issues Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and outages Monitor system health using tools like Event Viewer, PerfMon, and monitoring platforms Optimize server performance, storage, and network configurations 3. Automation & Scripting Develop automation scripts using PowerShell (mandatory) and other scripting tools Automate tasks such as provisioning, patching, configuration, and reporting Implement configuration management and automation frameworks where applicable 4. Security & Hardening Implement Windows security best practices and system hardening Manage identity, access control, and authentication mechanisms Apply security patches and vulnerability remediation measures Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and policies 5. Cloud & Infrastructure Integration Support Windows workloads in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Manage hybrid environments integrating on-premises and cloud systems Work with cloud-native tools for backup, recovery, and scalability 6. Backup, Recovery & Disaster Management Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions Ensure business continuity through DR planning and testing Maintain system resilience and data protection standards 7. Collaboration & Documentation Work closely with DevOps, security, network, and application teams Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and system architecture Provide guidance on Windows best practices and operational standards
