Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and automation equipment. Learn to diagnose and correct PLC and control system malfunctions. Install, test, repair, and maintain electrical control devices, instruments, drives, and related equipment. Support engineering projects involving PLCs, servo systems, vision systems, motor controls, molding equipment, and other automation technologies. Perform preventive maintenance and calibration activities according to schedule. Assist production teams with equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and machine overhauls. Repair existing electrical and mechanical components and initiate purchase requisitions for replacement parts and supplies as needed. Work with PLCs, drives, and control systems to support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide guidance and training to Electrical Mechanical Technician Interns. Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental standards and procedures.

Qualifications

Education

Associate degree (2-year technical degree) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field required.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing automated manufacturing equipment preferred.

Experience

working with PLCs, drives, controls, and automation systems preferred. Technical Skills Knowledge of electrical and electronic troubleshooting techniques. Ability to diagnose and repair automation equipment and control systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.

Experience

performing preventive maintenance and equipment calibration activities. Proficiency with electronic test equipment, hand tools, computers, and material handling equipment.
