About the opportunity An exciting opportunity is available to join QIAGEN as an Account Manager covering Denmark, ideally based in the Copenhagen area. In this role, you contribute to driving growth across a diverse Life Sciences portfolio, partnering with customers in academia, pharma, biotech, and applied testing laboratories. By understanding customer needs and aligning them with QIAGEN’s Sample to Insight solutions, you help deliver meaningful scientific impact. Success in this role comes from building strong relationships, identifying new opportunities, and strengthening QIAGEN’s presence across the territory. Your tasks: Manage and grow existing customer relationships while proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities across Denmark Achieve or exceed sales targets through consultative selling and regular customer engagement, primarily on-site Build a strong understanding of customer pipelines, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to support revenue growth Maintain accurate records, pipeline visibility, and forecasting in the CRM system to support data-driven decision-making Represent QIAGEN at seminars, conferences, and industry events, strengthening brand visibility and customer engagement Collaborate cross-functionally with field application specialists and internal teams to deliver tailored customer solutions Take ownership of specific product or business areas as a subject matter advocate within the sales team Your profile Please submit your application in English. Degree in Life Sciences (MSc preferred or equivalent experience), with a strong understanding of molecular biology techniques Experience in Life Science sales or a strong commercial mindset with the motivation to transition into a sales role Fluency in Danish and English, with strong communication and relationship-building skills across different stakeholder levels Self-driven and organised, with the ability to manage a dynamic territory and prioritise effectively Collaborative mindset, thriving in teamwork across sales and technical functions Willingness to travel extensively within Denmark (up to 80%) and occasionally across the Nordic region/Europe for trainings and sales meetings Valid driving licence required What we offer Pension coverage Health Insurance Life Insurance Holiday Pay Internet Cost Deduction Employee Assistance Program Hybrid work (conditional to your role) Our people are the heartbeat of everything we do.
