This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly. The Operator I, Warehouse & Distribution Operations, is primarily responsible for handling tasks in warehouses and distribution centers, optimizing storage and material flows, and managing inventory and shipments. The Warehouse and Distribution, Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer orders, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and supporting supply chain operations. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, sales, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and issue resolution. Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to customers. Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely shipment and delivery. Resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to orders, shipments, and returns. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve order discrepancies, inventory issues, and delivery delays. Generate and analyze order-related reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the order management process. Key Requirements/Minimum
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English Preferred requirements: Associate or Bachelor Degree
Experience
in customer service, order management, or supply chain operations. Proficiency in SAP system and Microsoft Office Suite.
