Job Summary
The Senior Supply Chain Analyst provides innovative solutions to the factory floor by leveraging problem-solving techniques, root cause analysis, and corrective actions through the application of Crane Business System (CBS) tools. This role involves developing tools to support management analysis including Power BI, providing leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Essential Functions
Collaborate with functional leaders to investigate problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Train and mentor Supply Chain team members on best practices, problem-solving techniques, and root cause analysis methodologies. Lead Kaizen events to ensure timely and successful implementation of solutions. Analyze and evaluate compliance with internal and customer-imposed procedures, methods, and requirements. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and data systems that provide clear process descriptions and performance measurements. Coordinate the preparation and documentation of policy and procedure materials. Maintain and control established policies, procedures, and data systems to ensure consistency and accuracy. Create tools and methods including Power BI to support management analysis of operations and decision-making. Analyze data to identify adverse trends, recommend corrective actions, and drive system improvements. Collaborate with procedure and system users to provide training, gather feedback, improve processes, implement new or revised procedures, and resolve system issues. Qualifications
Experience
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Knowledge: Working knowledge and understanding of operations in an electronics design and manufacturing organization. Skills/Abilities: Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and team skills; Proficient computer skills to develop Power BI analysis tools and knowledge of standard business application software (e.g., Word, Excel). Education/Certification: BA or BS degree preferred or minimum of 3 years’ experience
Preferred Qualifications
MBA Strong Lean experience Familiarity with major business application programs such as Sherpa and/or Oracle
Experience
in a leadership or significant role in a major project

Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
