Execute and oversee Record to Report activities, including general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and other assigned accounting processes. Prepare, review, and post journal entries in accordance with accounting standards and company policies. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely completion of deliverables. Prepare and review complex balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items promptly. Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations to Accounting, Finance, and business stakeholders. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable regulatory requirements. Investigate and resolve accounting issues, exceptions, and customer inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, standardize procedures, and enhance operational efficiency. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy, and service quality. Support internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries. Participate in system implementations, testing activities, and process transition initiatives as required. Review work prepared by other team members and provide guidance and support when needed. Monitor performance against established SLAs, KPIs, and departmental objectives. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
